Dehradun, Dec. 20: Dehradun Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal called on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the CM’s residence on Saturday in a courtesy meeting that focused on the city’s overall development.

During the discussion, key issues related to strengthening basic amenities, improving urban infrastructure, sanitation, traffic management, and other public welfare concerns were taken up. The mayor apprised the chief minister of the city’s current needs and future development priorities, placing several demands before him.

Chief Minister Dhami assured that the government would give serious consideration to all points raised and emphasized that the development of Dehradun remains a top priority for the state. He said the government, in coordination with the municipal corporation, will take effective measures to expand public facilities and ensure orderly urban growth, thereby providing better services to citizens.
