Uttarakhand BJP Core Group to Hold Key Meeting in Delhi Today, Focus on 2027 Assembly Poll Preparations
New Delhi: The Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core group will hold an important meeting on Wednesday at the party’s central headquarters in Delhi, a gathering that is being viewed as significant from an organisational standpoint. Senior leaders from both the state unit and the central leadership are expected to participate.
The meeting will review the party’s recent organisational activities, discuss upcoming programmes, and deliberate extensively on preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections. BJP National President, National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh, and other senior leaders from the central leadership are expected to be present.
All prominent Uttarakhand BJP leaders who were part of the previous core group meeting are also likely to attend. Party sources indicate that the central leadership may provide strategic guidance to the state unit regarding upcoming political and organisational initiatives.
Confirming the meeting, Uttarakhand BJP General Secretary Kundan Parihar said that the party regularly convenes core group meetings as part of its organisational framework, and the Delhi meeting is being held in continuation of that process.
Parihar stated that the gathering will include a comprehensive review of work carried out by the organisation in recent months. Discussions will also focus on formulating strategies for forthcoming organisational programmes and strengthening the party’s grassroots structure.
He added that while the 2027 Assembly elections are still some time away, the BJP has chosen to accelerate its preparations well in advance. The meeting is expected to chart a detailed roadmap for future activities and define the party’s strategy for enhancing its organisational strength ahead of the electoral contest.
