Dr. Jayakrit Chaudhary of Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital emerges as Uttarakhand’s lone cardiologist in the prestigious ZYMEA Cardiology National Quiz finale, Secured Second Position
Dehradun: Dr. Jayakrit Chaudhary, final-year DM Cardiology resident at Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, has brought recognition to Uttarakhand by securing second place in the prestigious ZYMEA Cardiology National Quiz Finale.
Dr. Chaudhary was the only cardiologist from Uttarakhand to qualify for the national finale, where he competed against doctors representing some of the country’s leading medical colleges and institutions. His performance earned him a place among the top six finalist teams in the country.
The national-level competition tested participants on medical knowledge, clinical understanding, quick decision-making, analytical ability and awareness of the latest developments in medicine. Dr. Chaudhary maintained a strong performance through the various competitive rounds before advancing to the finale.
His achievement is particularly significant for Uttarakhand, as he was the state’s sole cardiologist selected for the prestigious national finale. His performance has highlighted the growing academic and clinical strength of medical professionals emerging from the state.
Congratulating Dr. Chaudhary, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, Chairman of Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, extended his best wishes to him and the entire Cardiology Department. The ZYMEA Cardiology National Quiz Finale is a competitive academic platform for young and talented postgraduate medical professionals. Participants from across the country are assessed on their expertise, clinical reasoning and knowledge of recent medical advances. The competition covers important areas of medicine, including cardiology, endocrinology and internal medicine.
