Dr Divya Sengar and Dr Teja secure first and second prizes in quiz competition; Dr Kanika named Best Reviewer

Dehradun: The Oncology Department of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences (SGRRIMHS) has earned national recognition at the annual conference of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) held in Lucknow.

MCh Oncology trainees Dr Divya Sengar and Dr Teja secured first and second positions, respectively, in the conference’s quiz competition and were awarded medals. Dr Kanika was honoured as the Best Reviewer at the event.

Dr Pankaj Garg, Professor and Head of the Oncology Department, was also felicitated during IASO’s Golden Jubilee celebrations for his contributions to the association’s journal.

Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, President of SGRR, congratulated the award winners and blessed the department for its achievements.

Expressing gratitude for the continued support of the SGRR leadership, Dr Garg said the recognitions reflected the department’s growing reputation at the national and international levels.
