Dehradun: The first day of the two‑day annual cultural festival “Zenith‑2026”, organized by Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU), concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on students and attendees alike. The grand event, held at the Helipad Ground, Pathribagh, witnessed the participation of thousands of students and showcased a vibrant blend of folk culture and contemporary music.
Priyanka Mehar Captivates the Audience
The festival commenced with a powerful performance by renowned Uttarakhand folk singer Priyanka Mehar, who set the tone for the evening with her soulful renditions. Her performances of popular folk songs such as “Bedu Pako Baro Maasa,” “Phooldei,” “Nanda Devi Geet,” and “Ghaskati” enthralled the audience and brought the essence of Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage to life.
