12-Year-Old Kashipur Student Becomes Youngest Author in Her Family

Kashipur: Twelve-year-old Ashna Naqi, a Class 8 student of Army Public School Hempur, has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming a published author at a young age. Her children’s story collection, Young Mind Great Lessons, has been published by internationally recognized children’s publisher Bree Books.

The book features 10 inspiring stories for children aimed at promoting positive values and life lessons among young readers. The publication has brought pride not only to her school but also to her family, where she has become the fifth and youngest author.

Ashna comes from a family deeply connected with literature and academics. Her father, Dr. Naqi Uddin, has authored books on commerce, while her uncle Nadeem Uddin, an advocate, has written over 45 books on legal awareness, public awareness and literature. Another uncle, Dr. Zia Uddin, has authored books on engineering mathematics, and her elder sister Neelima Nadeem has also published books on legal awareness.

School Chairman Brigadier Sukhbir Singh, Principal Dr. Malini Sharma, programme coordinator Atul Yadav and faculty members congratulated Ashna on her achievement and praised her creativity and dedication at such a young age.
