Global Careers, New Horizons: CUH Celebrates Dubai Placements, Launches BBA Programme


Mahendragarh: The Central University of Haryana (CUH) continues to strengthen its reputation as a hub of academic excellence and career-oriented education, with students securing international placements and the university launching a new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme from the academic session 2026-27.

In a major achievement for the university, two M.Tech (Structural Engineering) students from the Department of Civil Engineering, Sourabh Kushwaha and Tushar Kant, have secured job offers in Dubai. The accomplishment reflects the university's growing global footprint and its commitment to preparing students for international career opportunities.

Congratulating the students, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar, and Registrar Prof. Suneel Kumar praised their hard work and dedication and wished them success in their professional journeys. University officials noted that the achievement showcases the institution’s focus on quality education, skill development, industry engagement, and employability enhancement.

Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Dr. Bhaskar Das, Dean Dr. Vikas Garg, and Training and Placement Director Dr. Divya also lauded the students and faculty members for their collective efforts in achieving international placement success.

Adding to its academic offerings, the university has announced the launch of a new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Online registration for admissions has commenced and will remain open until July 8, 2026.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said the BBA programme has been designed to equip students with managerial skills, leadership qualities, entrepreneurial thinking, and industry-relevant competencies. The course aims to create a strong foundation for careers in business management while also opening pathways for higher education.

The programme offers 60 seats, with admissions based on merit in Class 12 examinations. Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in Class 12 or equivalent examinations from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Relaxation in eligibility criteria will be provided to reserved category candidates as per Government of India norms.

According to Dr. Anurag B. Singh, Nodal Officer for the Non-CUET Admission Portal, applications can be submitted through the university's Samarth Non-CUET Admission Portal. Interested candidates can access the admission portal through the university website and complete the registration process before the deadline.

Highlighting the strengths of the programme, Head of the Department of Management Studies Prof. Ashish Mathur said students will benefit from experienced faculty members, modern infrastructure, advanced computer laboratories, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, research opportunities, extension activities, and strong industry linkages.

With international placements and the introduction of a future-focused management programme, the Central University of Haryana is reinforcing its commitment to academic innovation, skill development, and creating global opportunities for students.
