Former Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal and a delegation of MLAs met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office on Sunday and expressed their gratitude for recommending a CBI investigation into the Ankita Bhandari case.

The delegation included legislators Khajan Das, Kishor Upadhyay, Sahdev Pundir, Savita Kapoor, Asha Nautiyal, Renu Bisht, Brij Bhushan Gairola and Shakti Lal Shah. The leaders said the decision to recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation probe reflected the state government’s commitment to justice and transparency.

They noted that the move has strengthened public confidence and sent a clear message that the government is determined to ensure a fair, impartial and thorough investigation into the case.
