"Holi Khel Hai Jaane Sanwariya, Satguru Se Sarv-Rang Milai’ echoes through the Satsang community as devotees celebrate with devotion, service and cultural programmes."
Agra: The festival of Holi was celebrated with deep devotion, joy and spiritual enthusiasm by followers of the Radha Svaami (Radhasoami) faith in Dayalbagh during the auspicious month of Phalgun, transforming the traditional festival of colours into a spiritually uplifting celebration.
The day began early in the morning as Satsangi brothers, sisters and children gathered enthusiastically for Aarti Path and Satsang before participating in pre-planned agricultural service at the dairy premises. Members of the Sangat actively took part in sugarcane harvesting and other farming activities as part of the community service.
The Holi celebrations commenced during the agricultural service in the gracious presence of Param Pujya Guru Maharaj Satsangi Sahab and Param Adarniya Rani Sahiba Ji. On the sacred occasion, Guru Maharaj graciously granted permission for the application of Tilak. The ceremonial Tilak was first offered to Guru Maharaj and Rani Sahiba Ji, after which it was applied to the entire Sangat, symbolising the beginning of the Holi Milan across the Satsang community.

The programme also featured special Holi recitations by different groups along with cultural presentations. A highlight of the celebration was the delightful performance by children of Sant Parhyuman School, which received warm appreciation from the gathered devotees.
At noon, a Preeti Bhoj (community meal) was organised in the fields where the programme was being held. Satsangi brothers, sisters and children participated together, continuing the spirit of community service alongside agricultural activities such as sugarcane harvesting and other farm work.
Speaking on the significance of the celebration, Shri Gur Sarup Sood (Former IAS), President of the Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi (Radhasoami) Satsang Sabha, said that Holi in Dayalbagh represents a unique “spiritual Holi”, distinct from the conventional celebrations associated with loud festivities and colours.
He explained that the month of Phalgun is considered the most auspicious among all seasons and is often compared to the human body, which is regarded as the supreme medium for spiritual progress and union with the Supreme Father.
Sood further noted that when an individual develops inner spiritual eligibility, one can experience the eternal Shabd that resonates within. The essence of the Holi celebrated in Dayalbagh lies in this “inner Holi”, where devotees sit in the presence of the living Sant Satguru, receive His divine darshan and listen to the sacred Shabd—an elevated spiritual experience that guides the soul inward toward spiritual advancement.
The celebration in Dayalbagh is observed in a completely pure and sacred manner, following a lacto-vegetarian lifestyle and focusing on inner purification of the soul so that it may ultimately merge at the divine feet of the Supreme.
During both the morning and afternoon, as Param Pujya Guru Maharaj returned to the Kothi seated on an EV vehicle, He blessed the assembled Sangat with His gracious glance, leaving devotees spiritually moved.
The entire Holi programme was also broadcast live to more than 580 centres across India and abroad, allowing devotees worldwide to participate in the spiritually enriching celebration.
